FISHING & PARKS
Lake Limerick remains CLOSED for fishing (until April 25th). However, Lake Leprechaun is OPEN for fishing year round.
The Lake Limericks parks & sport court are available for community members to enjoy. Please note: The parks are not officially open for the season, all restrooms at parks are still locked, dogs must remain on a leash and we would appreciate members taking pet waste and/or trash home for disposal.
Additionally: Discovery passes are not required to visit State & National Parks during this time. You can still get outside and enjoy the beauty of Washington State while adhering to Social Distancing Guidelines.
The Lake Limerick Golf Course is OPEN. The Greens & Pro Shop Staff have implemented the following:
- Removing scoring pencils.
- Removing scoring cards.
- Enabling one rider per cart (exception: riders residing in the same residence may share a cart)
- Removing bunker rakes. *Please do the best you can to smooth the sand with your foot.
- Removing ball washers.
- Removing divot boxes.
- Resetting the cups and leaving the liner 1 inch above ground. *If the ball hits the cup and stays within a club length, consider it holed. This step will help you avoid touching the flagstick or the hole to get your ball out.
These actions took effect on Wednesday, March 18th. While these steps may seem aggressive approach must be taken to keep the virus from spreading and maintaining a safer environment for everyone.
*** The Golf Course cart paths are available for community members to use for walking. Please remember if you are using the cart paths for walking, you should do so against the course of play (walk towards golfers not behind them) ***
