Stay Home, Stay Healthy – Updated April 10, 2020 @ 4:15pm

Lake Limerick Community—Stay Home, Stay Healthy    (Updated April 10, 2020)

The Lake Limerick Homeowners Association Board and Management understand our Community is experiencing difficult times coping with the COVID19 pandemic and with the closing of our non-essential operations.  We believe having everyone following federal and state guidance to prevent the spread of the COVID19 virus is vital to protecting our families and the community as a whole.

Governor Inslee’s Stay Home Stay Healthy Proclamation is in effect through at least May 4th.  We all must continue to maintain 6 feet social distancing to protect ourselves and our neighbors  We still see this rule being violated.

The State has closed parks, and fishing season has been postponed from April 25th until at least May 4th.

Our parks, golf course, tennis courts, play equipment and boat ramps will stay closed until state restrictions are lifted.  The Anglia boat ramp is accessible via keycard.

Fish stocking in our lakes will proceed as planned.  Fishing is not allowed until at least May 4 or whenever the state restrictions are lifted.

Lake water craft are allowed but safe social distancing must be maintained.  Boats should only contain immediate family members currently “Staying Home” together.  Now is not the time or place to welcome extended family members or friends for a boat ride.

Our golf cart paths are open for walkers maintaining safe social distancing.

We all must continue agreeing to Stay Home Stay Healthy with our individual commitments to not enable COVID-19 to enter our lives and Community.

The Restaurant and Café remain open for takeout with reduced hours of operation.

Wildlife areas & water access areas: In response to Gov. Inslee’s extended “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order, all wildlife areas and water access areas remain closed through May 4. The extension applies to all camping on state lands, boat launches, and day-use recreation areas. WDFW officials deemed the closures necessary to reduce traveling around the state and support recommended social distancing and sanitation practices.

Outdoor recreation during “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order:

  • Do outdoor activities only with people in your immediate household – not extended families.
  • Enjoy the outdoors close to home instead of traveling. General rule of thumb: If you have to drive, it’s too far.
  • If you encounter others, maintain a minimum of 6 feet of physical distance.
  • Gatherings of any size are not allowed outdoors, just as they are not allowed indoors.
