Cascade Natural Gas Replacing Mainline on Way to Tipperary – Posted 11/23/2021 @12:15pm
Cascade Natural Gas (CNG) is replacing their mainline on E Way to Tipperary between addresses 130 and 320 with construction to start the week of November 29 and planned for 3-weeks. The existing steel pipe is obsolete at over 30 years old. Effected homeowners are currently being notified with door hanger information.
- Construction will be supervised by Snyder Gas Consulting for work performed by the contractor Michels Utility Services working 7:30am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday.
- LLCC’s Water Manager has been contacted and tasked to maintain water service.
- Contractor will provide driveway ingress and egress with 2 flaggers during construction.
- Walkers and non-resident vehicles are requested to avoid Way to Tipperary during construction.
Activities:
- CNG will install a new gas mainline while maintaining the current mainline providing gas service
- CNG will temporally disconnect and reconnect the existing customer service line and meter at each premise during service line reconnections to the new mainline
- CNG will notify customers 2 days prior to schedule the disconnect/reconnect process
- CNG to perform home appliance relights during the reconnection process
- Plan for each reconnection to take approximately 2 hours
