Notice of LLCC Water Committee Position Opening

The Lake Limerick Water System is seeking candidates to fill a Water Committee vacancy.  The term of this position expires in April 2025.

All candidates must be Members in Good Standing as defined in the LLCC Bylaws.  Qualifications for the successful applicant include ability to work collaboratively with others, willingness to participate in regular and special meetings throughout the year, and a strong desire to learn about water system operations, current projects and challenges, and long-term planning.

To be considered, please

• Submit a completed Declaration of Candidacy (available on the Lake Limerick website) along with a Candidate’s statement of interest to mail@lakelimerick.com or you may submit in person at the LLCC office by September 7, 2022
• Attend the Saturday, September 10^th regular Water Committee meeting.  It will be held via ZOOM only beginning at 8:30 AM, and candidates will be asked to make a brief oral statement of qualifications and reasons for wanting to be considered for appointment.  Committee members will review your application materials prior to the meeting and may also ask questions at Saturday’s candidate presentation time.  A ZOOM invite and agenda will be sent to you via email on Thursday, September 8^th.

• If you are unable to participate via ZOOM, please contact the office by Monday, September 7^th so that other arrangement (if possible) can be made.

The Water Committee intends to make a decision at the September 10^th meeting, after consideration of all applications in closed session, and then reconvene in open session to vote/select a candidate to submit to the LLCC Board of Directors for consideration/approval at their September 16^th regular meeting.  All applicants will be notified of the Board of Directors’ decision the week of September 18^th via phone and/or email.
