Lake Patrol Volunteers Needed!!

Summer season is here which brings a significant increase in recreational boating on our lake. To help assure boating is done in a safe and responsibly, a volunteer Lake Patrol function is used by LLCC to monitor and control boating practices. This is accomplished by on-lake patrols to 1. observe boating activities for compliance with documented boating rules and safety guidelines and  2. address unsafe watercraft operation with verbal advise and warnings. This is an important activity and we need volunteers again this season.

Our Lake Patrol captain, Gary Wilson is ready to start and he needs some support. Please consider helping your community by volunteering for this important task. The general requirements and responsibilities of patrol members is outlined in the attached document. As currently planned, Patrol members would be required to conduct one patrol of 3 hours duration each weekend. This assumes we get enough scheduled volunteers for all shifts. If you are interested, please email the office at mail@lakelimerick.com and include your contact information.

Thanks in advance.
