Aquatic Herbicides Treatment Scheduled – Monday, July 24th For Lake Limerick
Lake Limerick will be treated with Aquatic Herbicides on or about July 24th, weather permitting. Four treatments are anticipated. Treatments will not take place on weekends or Holidays.
Product(s) planned for use: Sonar, Littora, Clearcast, PAK27
Active ingredient(s): Fluridone, Diquat, Imazamox, Sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate
Plants/Algae targeted: Nuisance and Invasive aquatic plants; Nuisance Pondweed Species, Brazilian elodea, Yellow Flag Iris, and Algae.
Location of treatment(s): Lake Limerick
The applicator will post signs in the treated and potentially affected areas no more than 48 hours prior to treatment. The signs will describe any water use restrictions or advisories.
