Lake Limerick Fishing Derby – Saturday, April 27th
Lake Limerick is hosting its annual fishing derby on April 27th. Members, their families, and friends are invited to enjoy a day of outdoor fun and activities, including fishing from 6 AM to 1 PM.
Cash prizes for the biggest fish in both children’s and adult categories have increased this year with first place winning $125, second place $75, third place $50, fourth place $30, and fifth place $20.
The LLCC Inn will serve a breakfast buffet, hot dog lunch, and drink specials, and we will give thank-you gifts to each child with a derby ticket. We encourage children to fish by giving them a coupon for an ice cream treat. These gifts are made possible by generous donations from our members.
After the derby awards ceremony, we will have a second chance drawing for adults who didn’t win with derby tickets. We will also have a raffle drawing for special items donated by members and local businesses. Raffle tickets will cost $1. A silent auction of donated items will take place during the derby hours, and you can bid on your favorite item. The proceeds will help cover the derby costs.
We are asking for donations to support the raffle and silent auction. You can donate handcrafted items, fishing tackle, tools, art, or cash (Please no soiled or damaged items).
