LLCC Lake Patrol – Help Needed
During the summer months, Lake Limerick sponsors a volunteer Lake Patrol function to monitor general boating and recreational activities on the lake for compliance with our published “Lake Safety Rules and Guidelines”. The Lake Patrol is intended to be a community friendly function contributing to safe lake usage by noting observed rules violations and educating members on safe practices. It consists of a Captain and volunteers who conduct on-lake patrols using the LLCC patrol boat (see Lake Patrol Guidelines on the LLCC website).
Recently our Lake Patrol Captain was forced to resign for family and personal reasons. We are therefore seeking volunteers for both the position of patrol captain as well as patrol volunteers. Without community help, we are concerned we will not be able conduct this important function during the current 2022 boating and water sports season.
