Annual Chum Salmon Run
The Squaxin Tribe has informed the Office that they are installing their fish trap at the Limerick Fish Ladder for the annual Chum Salmon Run.
The Squaxin Tribe counts the fish and transfers them over the trap into Lake Limerick to continue their spawning journey.
You are invited to witness nature’s beauty at the Lake Limerick Dam, which is located at Anglia Park and can be accessed via Ballantrae Drive, or in Cranberry Creek at Olde Lyme Park.
This is an excellent way to enjoy and appreciate what our community supports in partnership with the Squaxin Tribe.
