BOD Announcement, Lake Treatment & Phase 2 Update – Posted 5/18/2020 @ 1:20pm
Board of Directors Announcement Saturday May 16 – The Lake Limerick Board approved the appointment of Stacy Stoney to the Lake Limerick Board of Directors vacancy. This resulted from the resignation of Board Member Tim McKern. Motion passed unanimously.
Our 2 lakes, Limerick and Leprechaun, will be weed treated with Department of Ecology permitted (#WAG994087) and approved Aquatic Herbicide products Sonar and Littora containing fluridone and diquat. Aqua Technex scheduled window is May 26 – September 30 weather permitting and will not occur prior to nor during Holiday weekends. Four treatments are anticipated.
Aqua Technex will post signs in the treated and potentially affected areas prior to treatments. The signs will describe any water use restrictions or advisories.
If you want additional information prior to treatment, or have further questions, please contact Aqua Technex located in Centralia.
We are working on the reopening processes for Restaurant and Café services based on the requirements of the Governor’s Phase 2 pending announcement. As staff developed for Golf reopening on May 5 planning with the Greens Committee, we are working with the Inn Committee and Board of Directors to establish operational rules to protect the health of Members and Employees.
More information to follow when the rules are established.
Member support for To-Go Curbside services from the Restaurant and Café are appreciated. We will continue this service with our Phase 2 operations. Thank you for your continued support!
