DESCRIPTION:Join the Conversation!\nMeetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 2:00 pm\nin the Crows Nest\, upstairs from the Great Hall. \n \n  \nWhat is Socrates Café? \nIt is a gathering of people interested in examining philosophical and ethical questions by challenging commonly held beliefs\, dogmas\, theories\, and convictions using critical thinking and the Socratic method or Socrates debate.  (Named after the Greek philosopher\, Socrates\, this is “a form of cooperative argumentative dialogue between individuals\, based on asking and answering questions to stimulate critical thinking and to draw our ideas and underlying presumptions.”) \nPlease consider joining us to listen\, participate\, contribute\, or provide your most provocative insights and thoughts!
