Fishing at Lake Limerick & Lake Leprechaun

Lake Limerick is stocked with fish by both the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Lake Limerick Association.
Lake Leprechaun, on the other hand, is stocked exclusively by the Association.
🐟 Lake Limerick
Lake Limerick is a semi-private lake, open to the public only during the official fishing season and only for those actively fishing from boats.
✅ A valid Washington State fishing license is required
📅 Anglers must follow all seasonal dates and regulations set by the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
🎣 Lake Leprechaun
Lake Leprechaun is a private lake, available only to Lake Limerick homeowners and their guests.
🗓️ Fishing is allowed year-round, but the lake is never open to the public.
⚠️ Important Rules
🚫 Fishing is not allowed from:
- Any roads surrounding the lakes
- The dams at either lake
📍 Always respect posted signs and community safety guidelines.
🎯 Where You Can Fish on Lake Limerick
Fishing from docks is permitted for members only from these designated areas:
- 🛶 Fishing Dock at the end of Log Toy Park (not the swimming dock)
- ⚓ Main Dock at the Clubhouse (please give way to docked boats)
- 🏞️ Docks at Anglia, Banbury, and Way-to-Tipperary (yield to swimmers and avoid boat launch areas)

🏆 Annual Fishing Derby
Every year on opening day of the fishing season, the Association hosts a Fishing Derby—a favorite tradition among members.
🎁 The event features:
- Catch prizes
- Raffles and giveaways
- Specially stocked “derby trout”, some over 4 pounds
