Lake Limerick Water Level
As you may know, Lake Limerick’s water level height is controlled via weir boards located at the crest of the dam. In recent years, the weir board height has been increased from historical levels. The increased height, along with wave action, has resulted in bank erosion to LLCC and Member properties. As a result, the Lake Dam Committee proposed, and the LLCC Board of Directors has approved, the summer lake level height be set at 12″. This is approximately 2″ lower than last year’s level.
LLCC will be installing survey stakes around the lake at highly-impacted erosion areas to monitor any further erosion. For Lake Limerick Members that feel their shoreline has been impacted by erosion and want a survey stake placed on your shoreline, please advise the LLCC Office via email to . Based on survey stakes available, volunteer members may place a stake (with safety cap) on your shoreline.
