MASON COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

With the recent atmospheric conditions dropping the National Fire Danger Rating
System to the “Moderate” level, effective 1201 AM on Friday, September 18,
Mason County will be lifting burn restrictions for recreational fires only on this
date. Please note that while it is anticipated the restrictions for Residential and
Land Clearing burns will also be lifted soon, they remain in effect at this time. If
